    Cascadia Library

Welcome to the Cascadia library, where we love to learn and read! Our mission is to foster a love of reading while also supporting students as they develop information literacy skills. During library class we read and share great books, but also learn about how to access and use information. We will create and share a variety of media formats. The library is open 5 days a week this year and all students will have an opportunity to checkout new books each week! Additionally, the library will be open for Open Library in the morning and Recess Reading some afternoons.

    Open Library 2019-2020

Open Library will be On Monday, Wednesday, Thursday mornings from 7:40 - 7:55. If you are a school breakfast eater, please eat before coming to Open Library.

    Recess Reading 2019-2020

Students will have a chance to come read quietly during lunch recess. As soon as the 2019-2020 schedule is finalized, I'll post it here.

    Volunteer Opportunities

I would love volunteers to check in books in the mornings and shelve books throughout the day. It is fulfilling to help students locate books and check them out, too! There are library tasks such as stamping books, adding bar codes and spine labels.
